About Us Huddersfield Theatregoers Club is a small privately run family business based in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. It was established in 1985 by Colin and Ann Baldwin, and is now run and managed by Christine Baldwin. We specialise in organising trips to a wide range of theatres predominantly within Yorkshire, Lancashire, and the East Midlands. The theatre trips are fully organised and include travel and theatre tickets.
It's a great opportunity to socialise with like-minded people, meet new friends and participate in a group activity, without the hassle of travel and parking arrangements at the destination. The majority of theatre trips are arranged for evenings midweek; some trips are arranged for matinee performances either midweek or Saturdays. We have visits to stately homes and have a guided tour and group lunch. In addition, we also arrange the occasional group lunch. Currently we circulate a Newsletter three times a year in February, June and November. Each Newsletter outlines the forthcoming theatre trips, from which members can choose the performances they would like to book. The demand for most performances is high and prompt booking is recommended. Travel is by coach and we aim to fill two coaches for most trips. The coach pick up point is on Thornhill Road, Edgerton,(as there is plenty of on road parking nearby and is also convenient for those people travelling by bus). We aim to drop off and collect outside the theatre door on most occasions, or as close as conveniently possible. To join Huddersfield Theatregoers Club please visit our Join Us page. |
